An American rock band from Agoura Hills, California; Linkin Park ( Chester Bennington, Brad Delson, Joe Hahn, Mike Shinoda, Rob Bourdon and Dave Farrell) formed in 1996. Originally consisting of three high school friends, the boys welcomes new faces while at other times said goodbye to vocalist and band members. Through the years the band had a few bad break ups, moments of succes and rocky journeys. In 1999 the band was signed to Warner Bros. and realeased its breakthrough debut album entitled Hybrid Theory. They continued their succes with Meteora and Minutes To Midnight. Linkin Park colaborated with many great artist, most notably Jay Z. As the years went by the band sold more than 50 million albums and won two Grammy Awards. Today they are keeping busy and working on their fourth album. Their latest single is called New Divide and was released on June 12, 2009. Fun Fact: Chester Bennington met his wife while working at Burger King.
